Three JSON endpoints over HTTPS. No key, no SDK, and CORS enabled so you can call them from the browser.

· Responses cached for 60 s (history: 1 hour)
· Errors return { error: { code, message } } with a 4xx/5xx status
· Fair use during the preview; keys and rate limits will follow

GET/api/v1/latest

Latest reference rates quoted against a base currency.

Query parameters for /api/v1/latest
Parameter	Description
`base`optional	ISO code of the base currency. Default USD.
`symbols`optional	Comma-separated ISO codes to include. Default: all.

GET/api/v1/convert

Convert an amount between two currencies.

Query parameters for /api/v1/convert
Parameter	Description
`from`required	Source currency ISO code.
`to`required	Target currency ISO code.
`amount`optional	Non-negative number. Default 1.

GET/api/v1/history

Daily ECB reference rates for a pair. Covers 30 major currencies.

Query parameters for /api/v1/history
Parameter	Description
`from`required	Source currency (ECB-covered).
`to`required	Target currency (ECB-covered).
`period`optional	1W, 1M, 3M, 6M, 1Y or 5Y. Default 1M.

Data sources & terms

Latest rates: ExchangeRate-API. Mid-market reference rates. The open-access feed publishes once per day. History: European Central Bank via Frankfurter. Daily ECB reference rates, published around 16:00 CET on working days. All rates are mid-market reference rates for information only and must not be presented as an offer to exchange currency. Attribution to the original sources is required when you display the data.
